Members of Provincial Parliament & Legislative Assembly of Ontario Pay Tribute To Female Veterans

With the unanimous support of all Members of Provincial Parliament, the Legislative Assembly of Ontario paid tribute to women who served in the military during the Second World War.
In the gallery at Queen’s Park to witness the tributes were:
· several WWII veterans (including WREN, Nursing Sister and CWAC);

· serving military personnel from HMCS YORK, Lorne Scots, 32 Service Battalion, 32 Signal Regiment, Queen’s York Rangers, Queen’s Own Rifles, Canadian Forces College and Fourth Canadian Division; and

· representatives from the Royal Canadian Legion, St. John Ambulance, the Royal Canadian Military Institute and other organizations.
